Who Are We:
The St. Marys Christian Reformed Church is part of a family (denomination) of Churches. In Australia, this family of churches is called the Christian Reformed Church of Australia (CRCA).

We stand in a tradition that has it's roots in the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century, which sought a return to an authentically Biblical faith.

We accept the Bible as God's Inspired Word. In this Word, God gives us the joyful message of Jesus Christ, the Savior who came to save a fallen human race from the consequences of sin. Through faith in Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice for our sins alone, we are redeemed and can we look forward to eternal life. In these matters we identify with all Christians all over the world, who share these beliefs and hopes with us.

  • Christian Reformed Church of St. Marys has been privileged to serve God and the community in the St. Marys district area since early 1960.
    • Our name:
      Christian because we confess that we belong to Jesus Christ and want to be His followers.
    • Reformed because we continually strive to reform to the principles of the Bible.
    • Church because God has called us to be a fellowship of His people in the world.
    What we believe:
  • We believe that all people need Jesus Christ, the Son of God, for eternal life. Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from our sin, was raised from the dead, and gives salvation and the promise of eternal life to everyone who believes in Him.
  • We believe that the Bible is God's Word to us, and that it contains the complete message of salvation. The Bible is therefore the central focus of all our ministries. We are constantly learning what the Bible is teaching us and how we can best honor God by living and sharing these truths.
  • We believe in the Kingdom of God, that Jesus Christ is the King and his rule extends over all areas of our life: work, family, school, business, recreation, government and all other social institutions.
  • We believe that our lives should reflect our faith in our daily behavior, and that we should also channel God's grace to one another in the community in which we live.

    "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."
