Our Mission, Vision and Purpose
Our Vision:
Joyfully serve our Lord in St Marys:
- a Church that has a love for God,
- a Church that has a love for her people,
- a Church that has a love for the lost.
Our vision for the Reformed Church of St Marys
is of a visible community of Christians where, by
God's grace:
- Above all else, we love the Lord
God with all our hearts. We believe that honoring
and glorifying God is our first purpose.
- Our love for God, our love for
each other, and our love for those who are yet to
believe in God are evident in our words and deeds.
- We celebrate God's grace to us in
Jesus, and in gratitude we worship Him together. We
honour and worship Him in our relationships, in our
daily business, our family, and in outreach and
service.
- The Word of God is taught boldly
and believers are discipled and effectively equipped
for ministry and leadership.
- We dedicate time to reading God's
Word and to prayer, to sharing and hospitality.
- We are committed to reach out,
accept and love unbelievers.
- We diligently exercise our love
for each other in fellowship and spiritual,
emotional and physical care.
- We teach, train, correct, rebuke
and encourage one another in the faith.
- We recognise we are part of God's
church which is empowered by the Holy Spirit to
fulfil God's mission.
Our Purpose:
We believe God has called us
together as a church in St Marys to be a community of
